LUDOWICI — The Long County Touchdown Club will have its Blue Tide Golf Tournament on May 16 at the Cherokee Country Club in Hinesville at 1:30 p.m.

The four-person, captain’s choice scramble tournament will cost $50 per person. Players will be able to add a "cheater’s combo" for an additional $10, including a mulligan, one shot from a ladies tee and one string of 10 feet to put their ball closer to a hole.

Sign up is going on and will take place on the day of the tournament at 12:30 p.m.

Prizes will be given for the top three teams, for closest to the hole and the longest drive. Door prizes will also be given out during the meal after all teams have finished play.

Proceeds will go to the Long County varsity football team.

Merchants and individuals can sponsor a hole for $100.
