Lovelady pulled up to MLB by the Royals

Former First Presbyterian Christian Academy and Kennesaw State University baseball player Richard Lovelady was pulled up to the major leagues today as the Kansas City Royals called up the left handed relief pitcher from their minor league division.

The Kansas City Royals drafted Lovelady in the tenth round in 2016. According to their news release on Royals Review, Lovelady, 23 excelled at each level of the minors where he had a 1.99 ERA in 167 1/3 career innings.

Lovelady has appeared on the top prospect list for making the majors several times last year.
