Former Liberty County High star and current New England Patriots Raekwon McMillan has been placed on injured reserve with what The Athletic is reporting as a partially torn Achilles tendon.
McMillan is in his second season with the team. He had 35 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery, which he returned for his first touchdown, for the Patriots in 2022.
McMillan, 27, missed the 2021 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He reportedly signed a contract extension with the team back in March. The Patriots are conducting organized team activities currently, and McMillan is said to have torn the Achilles during one of those practices.
