The former Liberty County High School and University of Tennessee shooting guard recently made the highlight reel on NBAtv for his slam dunk in the 76ers’ first Las Vegas summer-league win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday.
McRae and teammate Sean Kilpatrick led the 76ers with 20 points each against Utah. McRae also had three rebounds, one assist and two steals in 33 minutes of play time.
The 76ers lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 86-77, on Monday. McRae had another good performance, leading the team with 18 points to go with four steals, two rebounds and one assist in 29 minutes.
The 76ers were set to play the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. Results were unavailable at press time.
McRae was taken in the second round of last month’s NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs, and then traded to Philadelphia.
Summer-league action continues until July 21.
