Men Tigers takeregional track title, second year in a row

The Bradwell Tigers’ men track team ran, jumped and threw their way to a region 3-AAAAA title, making it the second year in a row the men came out as top cats at the regional track meet at Savannah State University last week.
The Tigers led the pack with a total score of 163 for first place. Beach High was second with 75, Camden 62 and Jenkins scored a 55.
The men and lady Tigers now prepare for the state qualifiers and finals. The ladies face the qualifying rounds Thursday and Friday and the finals on Saturday at the GHSA girls track state championships at Hugh Mills stadium in Albany.
The men will have an extra week for their qualifiers and finals scheduled May 8, 9 and 10 in Jefferson.
