The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 10th annual golf tournament on April 29, presented by Coastal Electric Renewables.
This year, as in years past, the Chamber will make a donation to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in the name of Gary Newsome, a Chamber board member who died from the disease.

The corporate sponsors this year were: Coastal Pawn, Pedrick and Co., Baldinos, Ameris Bank, Liberty Chrysler, Liberty Regional Medical Center, South Georgia Bank, Harris Ace Hardware, Canoochee EMC, Shane’s Rib Shack, La Quinta Inn and Suites and Optim Sports Medicine. The hole-in-one sponsor was Mike Reed Chevrolet.

Nineteen teams entered the tournament for a chance to place in the top three and win a cash prize.
Coastal EMC finished in second place, and first place went to Erik Mattingly, Nick Wells, Robbie Skipper and Brad Harris.
