Former Liberty County and First Presbyterian Christian Academy baseball pitcher Richard Lovelady recorded his second professional baseball win.

Former Liberty County and First Presbyterian Christian Academy baseball pitcher Richard Lovelady recorded his second professional baseball win Wednesday.

Lovelady was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in April and immediately reported to their rookie league affiliate, the Arizona Royals.
Wednesday, the Royals beat the Arizona Giants 6-4 in a game that spanned 10 innings. Lovelady was credited with the win, pitching two innings and tossing three strikeouts and giving up no hits.

Lovelady is currently 2-0 and holds a 2.35 ERA.
The AZL Royals were set to play the Cubs on Thursday and Friday, and will play today at 7 p.m. at the AZL Rangers.
