Results from final week of action: Mite Broncos undefeated

Nov. 2
The Flea League (8-year-olds) Cowboys picked up their first win of the season with a 19-6 win over the Vikings. Kashawn Ferris rushed for 75 yards, two touchdowns and a point after. Adryan Dupree scooped up a fumble and returned it 64 yards for a TD to lead the Cowboys. Earl McCray scored and R.J. Washington rushed for 48 yards for the Vikings. The Cowboys improved their record to 1-4-1, and the Vikings fell to 2-3-
1 at the end of the regular season.
The Saints continued their winning ways with a 19-7 victory over the Patriots in other Flea League action. Jabarri Neal continued to be a force on offense, rushing for 105 yards, two TDs and a PAT. Ryan Golden connected with Nicholas Kreighbaum on a 75-yard pass for a TD to lead the Saints. Jayden Hurd rushed for 130 yards, one TD and a PAT to account for all the Patriots scoring.

Nov. 3
The Colts defeated the Cardinals 30-0 in Mite League (10-year-olds) action. Paul Brown did the most damage for the Colts, rushing for 110 yards and three TDs. Jah’zir Williams and Kobe Morrow also scored TDs for the Colts, who ended the regular season in second place with a record of 3-2-1. TreShaun Peggins was the leading rusher for the Cardinals with 33 yards.
The Mite League Broncos finished the regular season undefeated with a record of 6-0, as they defeated the Rams 34-0. Jacoby Davis, Trey Fossett, Ni’Jia Battle, Jahzia Thomas and James Sommersett each scored for the Broncos. Nazario Lawrence and Jacob Freeland each recovered fumbles for the Rams, who ended the regular season in third place at 2-3-1.

Nov. 4
The Raiders wrapped up regular-season play with a 32-0 win over the Lions, in Midget League (11-12-year olds) play. Jaleel Andrew, Kyvon Green, Jabari O’Neal and Christopher Dennis all scored TDs for the Raiders as they ended the regular season at 4-1 in second place in the league standings. Antonio Dixon had an interception for the Lions.
In the final regular-season game of the Midget League, the Chargers held the Redskins scoreless and chalked up a 20-0 victory. Tre’Von Jackson rushed for 108 yards and a TD and returned a punt 74 yards for a TD, while teammate Jaylin Frasier added a TD to lead the Chargers. Elijah Leiataua led the Redskins with 38 yards rushing and a fumble recovery. The Chargers ended the season at 3-2 in third place. The Redskins fell to 2-3 and finished the regular season in fourth place.

Nov. 5
The Jaguars used a stifling defense to knock off the previously undefeated 49ers 14-0 and take over first place in the final regular-season Pee Wee League (9-year-olds) game. Tahshaun Frasier was a workhorse for the Jaguars, rushing 11 times for 127 yards and a TD. Marquan Houston also rushed for a TD and Kordell Grant recovered a fumble for the Jaguars, who ended the season with a 5-1 record. Jaiden Warren completed 2 of 4 passes and recovered a fumble to lead the 49ers who ended the regular season at 3-1-2.
The Pee Wee League Jets picked up their second win of the season as they defeated the Seahawks 27-6. Malik Love rumbled for 86 yards and a TD, Jamarion Flagg added a rushing TD, and Keyaundre Nelson connected with Michael Spencer on two TD passes to lead the Jets offense. Jamal Leonard had a big game for the Seahawks, rushing for 114 yards and a TD. The victory gave the Jets a final record of 2-3-1 and the Seahawks finish the season at 0-5-1.
