 Richmond Hill High School fell 36-29 to Ware County in Waycross on Friday night in a battle between top 10 football teams.

The Wildcats (1-1) were paced by quarterback Tyler Coleman, who completed 11 of 23 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns.

Ashaud Roberson had 26 carries for 126 yards and a touchdown; Kenyan Hunter added 5 carries for 15 yards and a TD. Isaiah Allen and Christian Boggs each caught a touchdown pass in the game, which saw the Wildcats trail 26-14 at the half. 

Richmond Hill, ranked No. 4 in AAAAAAA, outscored the Gators 15-10 in the second half.  

Ware County improved to 2-0. The Gators are ranked No. 5 in Class AAAAA. 

The Wildcats travel Sept. 18 to Wayne County.
