Kevin Harris carried Bradwell Institute to a 23-20 win over Southeast Bulloch on Friday night at Hokey Jackson Stadium in Hinesville.
Harris, a junior, ran the ball 39 times for 312 yards and all three of the Tigers’ touchdowns to help Bradwell improve to 2-0. The running back scored on runs of 15, 10 and 48 yards and Kenneth Lockhart added a 40-yard field goal in the first quarter and a pair of extra points for the Tigers.
Defensively, BI held the Yellowjackets to just 102 yards of offense and two scores. Jaliel Nieves, Andrew Rafferty, Keron Mason and Curvantae Bryant spearheaded the defense and David Spaulding had an interception for BI.
Harris, who already has an offer from Tulane, now has more than 370 yards rushing in the first two games of the season for the Tigers.
