The South Georgia Kings are hosting their first annual Kings of the Coast Basketball Classic Invitational Tournament in Hinesville and Ludowici this Friday through Sunday. The event will feature some of the best AAU talent in the area.
The tournament will feature games in the 12U, 13U and 14U divisions. The games start Friday at Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Ludowici, Snelson Golden Middle School in Hinesville and Lewis Frasier Middle School in Hinesville.
Admission is $5 and the tickets are good at all three locations.
"We wanted to bring the scouts and the families that participate in the AAU programs the opportunity to play in our area," said Derrick Brooks, the 14U coach and tournament organizer. "We want to bring a little stimulation to our local economy."
