The first Sam B. Harris Middle School Basketball Tournament is scheduled for next Thursday and Saturday, Dec. 11 and 13.
The opening girls game — First Presbyterian vs. Snelson-Golden — is set for 4:30 p.m. Dec. 11, at Midway Middle School. In another girls game Dec. 11, Midway Middle will take on Faith Baptist at 6 p.m.
The two boys first-round games will be played at St. James Sports Center on Dec. 11. The opener will pit Midway Middle against Faith Baptist at 4:30 p.m. The second game will match up First Presbyterian and Snelson-Golden at 6 p.m.
On Dec. 13, second-round girls action is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. at Midway Middle. The second round for the boys is set to start at 11:30 a.m. at St. James.
Both championship games will be played later that day at Midway Middle. Times have not been determined.
Admission for each session of games is $5 for adults, $3 for students.
