The Snelson Golden boys’ and girls’ basketball teams won the second annual Scott’s All*Stars Classic on Dec. 12-13 at the Shuman Center.
The Snelson Golden boys defeated Needwood, and the girls defeated Lewis Frasier.
All teams from Liberty County were in the tournament and were joined by Needwood from Brunswick, Savannah Christian and Long County.
Scott’s All*Stars, a program that provides mentors to young males and females who have the grades and athletic potential to play college basketball, will have workouts for its sixth season Jan. 24 at the YMCA for grades 4-11.
