After weather postponed their games last Friday, the Bradwell Institute Tigers and Liberty County Panthers are each off again tonight.
Bradwell had its game with Greenbrier pushed back to October 15, and the Tigers will play South Effingham on October 18. Bradwell’s homecoming festivities, set initially for the Greenbrier game, will be held during the South Effingham game.
This week’s originally scheduled game with Brunswick instead will be played November 8.
The Tigers, who last played September 20 in a 41-36 loss on the road at Statesboro, are 1-4 on the season and 0-3 in Region 1-AAAAA.
Liberty County, 2-3 overall and 2-2 in Region 3-AAA, was scheduled originally to play Southeast Bulloch last week. That game was moved to October 15, which was a bye week for both teams.
The Panthers were scheduled to play Johnson tonight, but that game has been pushed back to November 8.
The GHSA has added a week to the regular season, with state playoffs now starting November 15-16. The finals remain set for December 16-18.
