Three local drivers had good showings at Oglethorpe Speedway in Pooler on May 18.
Adam Chambers, from Ludowici, finished seventh in the Love’s Seafood Street Stocks race. Donald Norby from Midway took ninth place.
In the Four Star Security 440’s, Midway’s Chad Steffy finished eighth.
Brian Barnes from Bloomingdale won the Love’s Seafood race, while Jeremy McDonald from Pooler won the 440.
In the street stocks points standings, Norby is fourth with 1,478. Barnes leads the standings with 1,067. Chambers is ninth with 1,351. In the 440, Steffy is 11th with 144, trailing first-place McDonald by 56 points.
