The Long County High School basketball teams closed out their regular season with region games against Appling County and Brantley County on Tuesday and Friday.

The Lady Tide won both of their contests beating the Lady Pirates 59-26 and the Lady Herons 62-55, while the Blue Tide were able to beat the Pirates 77-51 but fell to the Herons 68-64.

The boys’ record is now is 16-10 overall and 6-4 in the region, while the girls’ are 12-13 overall and 4-6 in the region.
