The Bradwell Institute boys soccer team capped its regular season with a three-game winning streak, and have taken a 13-4-2 record into the state playoffs.
The Tigers hosted Locust Grove on Wednesday at Hokey Jackson Stadium/Olvey Field in the first round of the Class AAAAA state playoffs.
Bradwell capped its regular season with a 3-0 win over rival Liberty County, getting goals from Steven Hawkins, Todd Lawler and Tristan Ximello- Casillas. The Tigers also posted a 3-0 win over Toombs County and an 8-0 rout of Jenkins to close the regular season. Hawkins, Ximello-Casillas and Jahdai Prince each had two goals in the win over Jenkins, and Lenroy Lewis and Skeyler Roshak each added one. Hawkins netted two goals and Santiago Alvarez scored in the win over Toombs County.
The winner of the Bradwell- Locust Grove game faces the winner of the Drew-Tucker matchup in the second round.
The Lady Tigers ended their season Tuesday with a 9-0 loss to Union Grove in the first round of the state playoffs. Union Grove will face Northgate, an 8-0 winner over Tucker, in the second round.
