Five players from the Bradwell Institute baseball squad were named to the 2009 All-Region 3-AAAAA team last week.
Making the first team were seniors Steven Dill and DeAnte Day for their performances in the infield. Both Tigers also established themselves as skilled pitchers this season. Day made the All-Region second team for pitchers.
Tiger outfielder Josh Rivers was named to the All-Region second team.
Ulrick John and Zach Hawkins received honorable mentions.
"I just want to congratulate all my players for making both teams," Tiger baseball coach Rhett Hellgren said. "It is especially nice to see Steven and DeAnte get the recognition they deserve."
