Former Bradwell Institute and Georgia State University football player Ulrick John was picked up by the Miami Dolphins Saturday, according to a news release from the team.

John was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He spent his first year with the Colts on injured reserve after breaking his ankle in a preseason game against the Jets.

This season, John was on the Colts’ practice squad.

John was signed by the Dolphins after Miami placed defensive end Cameron Wake on injured reserve.
