The Woodmen of the World’s Mite baseball team lost its first four games of the LCRD baseball season, but they regrouped and wound up winning the championship.
Jeremy Broadwater tripled three times and Chris Bell had two hits to help lead WOW to an 11-10 win over McDonald’s Friday to win the title.
For McDonald’s, Christian Ruff had three hits.

Jimmy Richardson singled for McDonald’s.
James Jones had a double and a single for Pirkle.

Dylan Norris had two hits in the win.
James Tucker singled and doubled in the loss.

Michael Lovett singled and doubled for WOW.
Richardson singled and doubled for McDonald’s.
Georgia Power 11, American Legion 6
William Wade singled twice and tripled in the win.
Ryan Wells singled and doubled in the loss.
Robert Pirkle 10, First Citizens Bank 9
William Lord had three hits for Pirkle.
Bryan Johnson singled and tripled in the loss.
