The Liberty County YMCA gymnastics competed Oct. 14 at the 19th Annual Riverstreet Classic meet hosted by Islands Family YMCA in Savannah.

Level-one gymnasts Kaiden Dotson, Sophia Hool, Aubriauna Jones, Athena Soto and Jazleen Vega placed fifth overall in team scores. 

Hool placed second all-around and Vega came in third. Dotson and Jones placed fifth all-around and Fleming and Soto placed sixth.

Hool earned second place on vault and beam. Dotson, Jones, Soto and Vega all earned second place on bars.

Xcel Silver gymnasts Victoria Johnson, Erica Mock, Ayanna Scott and Sania Williams earned third place as a team. 

Williams placed second all-around, Johnson third, Mock fifth and Scott sixth.

Johnson came in first on vault and second on floor. Williams earned first place on beam.

Gymnasts will compete next at the Wheel of Champions, hosted by The Gym Nest in Macon, Oct. 28.
