Liberty County Raiders Travel Football Team is for Liberty County residents that will attain the age of 11 and will not turn 13 before Sept. 1.

The team will play in the South Georgia Youth Football League this fall with games in Hinesville and other local communities. Selected players must pay $50 to be on the team to pay for the uniform. Each player will be issued a helmet and shoulder pads from Liberty County Recreation Department or may choose to use their own gear. Transportation will not be provided to games or practices.

Tryouts team will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at the LCRD football field. A parent must accompany each player and sign them in prior to the tryouts. Proof of age will be required of any participant not currently in the LCRD age verification system.
