Senior Lady Panther softball pitcher Jordan Struble said she wants to take her pitching skills to the next level and play the game while she attends Valdosta State University. She recently talked with the Courier about her top five in-spirational fast-pitch
players.
Struble said Danielle Lawrie, who plays for the University of Washington, is her first pick because, “She has the attitude and softball ethics to show others how to succeed. Danielle not only has the arm to pitch, but also has the stick at the plate,” Struble
said.
Her next pick is Cat Osterman from the University of Texas.
“She not only was a lefty, but showed how to keep composure on the mound and was a tremendous pitcher,” the Lady Panther said.
Next on her list is Stacey Nelson, who, Struble said, was an amazing pitcher with a great attitude as a Florida Gator.
Megan Langenfeld of UCLA makes the list because of her versatility and ability to hit the ball, Struble said.
Finally Jennie Finch from Arizona rounds out Struble’s list because, “She has an amazing pitch, great control and accuracy,” Struble said.
