SAVANNAH — Hinesville City Manager Billy Edwards was elected to the board of directors for the Georgia Municipal Association during the association’s annual meeting in Savannah June 23. Edwards will serve as an at-large member of the board.
“We are pleased to have Billy serving on the GMA board of directors,” said GMA Executive Director
Jim Higdon. “He has always provided great leadership to GMA and I’m sure will continue to do so as a member of the board.”
Based in Atlanta, GMA is a voluntary, nonprofit organization that provides legislative advocacy, educational, employee benefit and technical assistance services to its 500 member cities.
