Andrew Alonso Lopez graduated from Coast Guard basic training on Aug. 13, in Cape May, N.J.
He received the John W. “Jack” Campbell physical fitness award, and was selected for the U.S. Coast Guard Ceremonial Honor Guard. He will be stationed in Alexandria, Va.
Lopez is the son of Alonso and Monica Lopez of Hinesville. He is a 2010 graduate of Liberty County High School.
