Bruce D. Edwards Jr., RRT, graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University on May 3 with a bachelor's of science degree in respiratory therapy. He had earlier become a registered respiratory therapist, working at Southeast Georgia Regional Health System in Brunswick. He is a graduate of Long County High School and is a member of The Potter's House of Deliverance Church in Ludowici. He is the son of Pastor Bruce Edwards Sr. and Cassandra Edwards, and is the brother of Elisha and Tangela Frazier.
