Four graduate basics, sergeant honored

Air National Guard Airman Cedrick A. Taylor graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He is the son of Deborah Johnson of Fort Stewart, and the grandson of Elizabeth Lewis of Chicago.

Day graduates from basic

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Demario M. Day graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He is the son of Alisha Frasier of Hinesville. Day is a 2009 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

Gonzalez graduates from basic
Navy Seaman Jesus M. Gonzalez, a 1989 graduate of Bradwell Institute, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.

Walton graduates from basic

Navy Seaman Recruit Cherie L. Walton, daughter of Belinda R. and Terry J. King of Hinesville, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.
Walton is a 2006 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

Gillespie is top performing NCO
Air Force Tech. Sgt. Allan H. Gillespie was recognized as the top performing noncommissioned officer supporting Operation New Horizons in Panama in July.
New Horizons is an annual U.S. Southern Command-sponsored humanitarian assistance exercise designed to build infrastructure by constructing roads, buildings and schools, and to provide free medical care for the citizens of Panama and the peoples of Central and South America and the Caribbean Islands.
Gillespie is a cyber operations supervisor assigned to the 32nd Combat Communications Squadrons at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Okla.  The technical sergeant has served in the military for 15 years.
He is the son of Hugh and Barbara Gillespie of Hinesville.
The sergeant graduated in 1993 from Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, and earned an associate’s degree in applied science in 2000 from Community College of the Air Force at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala.
