Three others complete basics

Army Pvt. Eboni N. Dekine has returned to Fort Richardson, Anchorage, Alaska, after being deployed to Afghanistan for one year.
The soldier is one of 3,500 members of the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, stationed at Fort Richardson. Airborne combat team members included soldiers assigned to one of six battalions and regiments of the 25th Infantry Division.     
The airborne brigade served in three eastern provinces of Afghanistan — Paktya, Paktika and Khost. Soldiers improved roads, provided vocational training in construction and civics, improved and re-opened 29 schools, remodeled six medical clinics and improved three district courthouses.
While deployed to Afghanistan, Dekine was decorated with the Combat Action Badge.
Dekine, a heavy-wheeled vehicle operator, is normally assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment.  
She is the daughter of Paul W. and Sherry L. Dekine of Hinesville.
The private is a 2002 graduate of Liberty County High School.

McLeod graduates basic training

Army Pfc. Robert L. McLeod Jr. has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla.
He is the son of Cheryl McLeod of Hinesville.
McLeod is a 2008 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

Williams graduates basic training

Navy Seaman Yolonda L. Williams, daughter of Gladys Williams and Bill Collins of Hinesville, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.
Williams is a 2003 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

Carmichael graduates basic training


 Army Pvt. Alexander J. Carmichael has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus.
He is the son of Don and Jo Carmichael of Hinesville.
Carmichael is a 2008 graduate of Bradwell Institute.
