Ludowici/Long Co. Fire Dept. taps firefighter of year

The Ludowici/Long County Fire Department recently named Randy Combs the 2010 Firefighter of the Year.

Additionally, the L/LCFD Auxiliary also presented special awards to the E-911 dispatchers who work at the Wiregrass Center in Darien and to the dispatchers who work at the Ludowici Police Department.

Gift cards were given to each member of the department as a token of the auxiliary’s appreciation for the staff’s hard work.

The awards were distributed at the department’s Christmas party, which was at the E-911 Wiregrass Center.
