Phillips graduates from basic training

Seaman Whitney A. Phillips graduated from basic training on Nov. 19 in Great Lakes, Ill. She received the Navy League Award for enthusiasm, supportive attitude, willingness to help others and exceeding Navy training standards.
She is the daughter of Marvin Phillips of Fayettville, N.C., and Dorothy Herrod of Hinesville.

Laboy graduates from basic training

Air Force Airman Carlos J. Laboy has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He is the son of Vanessa B. Rodriguez of Hinesville.
Laboy graduated in 2010 from Bradwell Institute.
