Kathleen R. Hensley has graduated from the health services administration officer course at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.
The course provides training for Air Force members in the knowledge and skills needed to perform duties in health service administration. The training is designed for newly commissioned officers to the Air Force Medical Services Corps and prepares them for performance of administrative duty in the medical service. The training includes procedures for effective management of medical resources.
The officers are trained in communications, patient services, resource management, medical logistics, group practice management, strategic planning and local and global medical readiness.
Hensley is a medical wing personnel center chief assigned to the 59th Medical Wing at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. The lieutenant has served in the military for less than one year.
