Simon and Jessie Mae Hines of Riceboro celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary Sept. 21.
Mr. Hines is a retired civil servant from Fort Stewart. Mrs. Hines retired from positions with Tri-County Protective Agency, Headstart and The Department of Family & Children Services.
They are the proud parents of 10 children, with two preceding them in death. They also raised four other children. They have 28 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
