Twins Amir Lasatdeon and Amirah LaTrice Baker were born on April 11 at 1:37 and 1:38 p.m., respectively, to Karen Futch of Hinesville and Jermaine Baker of Midway. They were born at Liberty Regional Medical Center. Amir weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 19 inches. Amirah weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 19-1/2 inches. Their maternal grandparents are Abe Leon and Deborah Futch of Ludowici. Their paternal grandparents are Cyrus Green and Gerildine Bowens of Midway. They are welcomed by sister Cierra and brothers Ahmein, Ahmed and Ali.
