Jalah Danielle Johnson was born at 7:58 p.m. Aug. 8 to Cherisse and Jarvis Johnson Sr. of Hinesville.
Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Jalah weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 18 inches.
She is the maternal granddaughter of Sari Whitehurst of Hinesville and Richard Echols of Hillsborough, N.J. She is the paternal granddaughter of Aundray Cowing of Enterprise, Ala.
The baby also is welcomed by sisters Jaquist and Jabria and brothers Jarvis Jr. and Jared.
