Tusiofo Afaese Tiapula was born on April 28 at 5:45 p.m. to Giovanna and Roger Tiapula of Ludowici. The baby was born at Liberty Regional Medical Center and weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 20 inches.  The maternal grandparents are Uati and Taei Savea of Ludowici. The paternal grandparents are Imo and Aliitia Tiapula of Pago Pago, American Samoa. The baby is welcomed by a sister, Salavaoolemasina Tiapula-Savea.
