Wesley Lawrence Boyette was born at 5:58 p.m. Aug. 15 to Karisa (Cope) and Joseph Boyette of Statesboro.
Born at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, baby Wesley weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 20 ½ inches.
He is the maternal grandson of Ross and Missy Mimms of Fort Pierce, Fla. He is the paternal grandson of Sgt. Gerald and Shannon Erdman of Hinesville.
The baby also is welcomed by great-grandparents Thomas and Bonnie Boyette of Ellabel and Christopher and Julie Witt of Rockford, Ill., and aunts Ashleigh and Amanda Richardson of Hinesville.
