• Soul Gravy, 4:30 p.m.
• Swamp Cabbage, 7 p.m.
• 3rd Class Citizens, 9:30 p.m.

The musical lineup has been announced for the 10th annual Blues and BBQ, which is set for 2-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, in downtown Hinesville.
Soul Gravy will take the stage at 4:30 p.m., followed by headliner Swamp Cabbage at 7 p.m. and local band 3rd Class Citizens at 9:30 p.m.
Hailing from Jacksonville, Swamp Cabbage’s style is considered to be a “mishmash of genres boiled into a stew of mixed blues, jazz, soul, Southern rock, Appalachian and even classical,” according to www.walterparks.com, the website of one of the band’s members.
Original music has been on TV shows such as “American Guns,” “My Big Redneck Wedding,” “Man Vs. Food” and more.
Soul Gravy’s performances fuse soul, rock, funk and gospel music, while 3rd Class Citizens blend Southern rock and soul. The barbecue-tasting contest will be from 4-5 p.m. Voting tokens are $5 apiece.  There also will be free kids activities and a contest to determine the best sweet tea in Liberty County.
