Sugarland and Lauren Alaina to perform at Wild Adventures

Valdosta, GA – Wild Adventures Theme Park (WA) adds four concerts to its already star-studded 2012 Family Concert Series. Georgia native Lauren Alaina joins Sugarland on Saturday, July 28 along with country music singer songwriter Canaan Smith. Rock band Abandon and alternative band The City Harmonic join Newsboys’ lineup Saturday, April 14. WA’s Family Concert Series features 19 performances, all included with a 2012 Season Pass or park admission.

Guests will enjoy a night of fun and fellowship with four contemporary Christian performances scheduled for Saturday, April 14. Performances by Abandon, The City Harmonic and Anthem Lights begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by Newsboys at 8:00 p.m.

A night of Southern music is scheduled for Saturday, July 28 with three country performances. Nashville, Tennessee born singer songwriter Canaan Smith kicks off the evening of country music before making way for two Georgia artists – Lauren Alaina and Sugarland. Lauren Alaina, from Rossville, Georgia, is the season 10 American Idol runner up and recently released her debut album ”Wildflower,” featuring the hit song “Georgia Peaches.” Canaan Smith is scheduled to perform at 6:00 p.m. followed by Lauren Alaina and then Sugarland at 8:00 p.m.

WA promises families a variety of musical entertainment from April to August with an all-star line-up including concert performances in the rock, pop, country, Christian and R&B genres. General concert entry is included with park admission or a 2012 Season Pass. 2012 Season Passes are on sale now, until May 7, starting at $69.99 and include unlimited park admission for the 2012 season.

Season Pass Provides Unlimited Adventures

The best way for guest to experience thrill rides, hundreds of exotic animals, Splash Island with a million gallons of fun and a season full of all-star concerts is with a 2012 Season Pass. Season passes are on-sale now at www.wildadventures.com, starting at $69.99. For $20 more, a Gold Season Pass includes free parking (a $10 value per visit), miniature golf, go-karts and discounts on food and merchandise. Season pass prices will increase Monday, May 7. General park admission is also available for purchase. Adult tickets are $45.99, children (ages 3-9) and seniors (55 and older) are $40.99. Prices do not include tax.

Wild Adventures Theme Park is a 170-acre theme park, water park, and animal park all in one place for less located in Valdosta, Georgia.
