Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Baker Jr. of Hinesville announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Chandra Patrice Baker of Hinesville to Richard Bernard Collier of Shreveport, La. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Robinson of Shreveport.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Baker Sr. of Hinesville and of Ms. Willie Mae Hunter and the late John Robert Hunter Sr. of Jesup. She graduated from Liberty County High School in 2001 and Valdosta State University in 2006 with a bachelor’s of science in special education, and in 2007 with a master’s of education in special education. The bride-elect is employed with the Duval County School System in Jacksonville, where she works as an exceptional student education teacher.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Marshall Collier and the late Willisten Collier Williams of Shreveport and of the late Flora Lee Robinson and the late John Lee Black of Shreveport. He graduated from Northwood High School in 2000 and attended Valdosta State University in 2004-05. He is a retired Jacksonville Jaguar player with the National Football League.
