Henry and Phylena Barrett are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharleeta Barrett, to Gregg Austin, son of Constance Austin.
The wedding will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, at Liberty Tabernacle of Prayer. It will be officiated by Dr. C.L. Anderson and Pastor Nancy Kornegay.
The matron of honor will be Fayth Polite and the maids of honor will be Brenda Alvin and Memory Littles. The bridesmaids will be Yvonne Chapman, Genese Baker, Janeika Bailey and Shelia Golden.
The bestman will be Victor Shanks. The groomsmen are Jonathan McDougle, Lemuel Johns, Jacob Rozier, Tony Kornegay, Victor Shanks II and Matthew Johnson. The ushers will be Henry Barrett and Vennie Johnson III.
The ringbearer will be Darius Kornegay. The flower girls will be Aneysha Mack and Katavia Gibson.
The bride will wear an ivory color gown with pearl beading and a two-layer veil with pear beading to match the dress. The bridesmaids will wear persimmon color strapless gowns.
The rehearsal dinner will be hosted by the Liberty Tabernacle Church family at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 11.
The reception will be held at Celebration Castle in Ludowici. Winston Wallace will play the saxophone and Terrell Ball will play the piano. The servers are to be James and Lillian McKnight. The bride's book attendee is Twanda Gibson. The couple will take a seven-day cruise of the western Caribbean on a Carnival Legend Ship.
