Keith Hibbeler of St. Louis, Mo., and Elizabeth Palmer of Warrington, England, announce the engagement of their daughter Julie Elizabeth Hibbeler to Elpidio Fratichelli.
The prospective bride was educated in England and graduated in 1982. She formerly resided in Warrington and is currently employed as a detective for the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department.
The prospective groom is the son of Simon Fratichelli and Rose Tirado, both of Puerto Rico. He was raised in Bronx, N.Y., where he graduated from Clinton High School in 1975. He received his associate’s degree in criminal justice from Central Texas College in 1987. He is a retired chief warrant officer and Military CID agent and is currently employed as a polygraph examiner and Georgia peace officer with the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department.
The wedding is set for 5 p.m. Aug. 11 on Fort Stewart with Magistrate Judge J.R. Bomar officiating. A reception immediately follows the ceremony.
