Brian and Teresa Howard of Waynesville and Shirley and Mike Faulk of Jesup are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Bridgett Shirell Howard of Ludowici to Marcus Gregory Woodard of Hinesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary S. Howard of Ludowici, the late Clyde Howard, Irene and Clarence Kirkland of Odum, and the late Lonnie Mosley of Jesup.
She is a 2002 graduate of Long County High School. She graduated from Altamaha Technical College in 2005 and is a licensed practical nurse at Low Country Medical Clinic.
The groom-elect is the son of James and Patricia Woodard of Hinesville. He is the grandson of Eddie Day of Ft. Myers, Fla., Jean and Danny Charbonneau of Punta Gorda, Fla., and James and Hazel Woodard of Hinesville.
He is a 1992 graduate of Long County High School. He works with Appliance Sales and Service.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m. at the Belvedere Island Clubhouse in Townsend. The reception will also be hosted at the Belvedere Island Clubhouse following the ceremony.
The Rev. Mike Woodard of Baxley, an uncle of the groom, will officiate the ceremony.
All friends and family are invited.
