The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Newlin Sr. of Midway, and the late Mr. And Mrs. Antonio Santos of Manila, Philippines.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thompson of Cloverdale, Ind., and Dorothy Thompson of Plainfield, Ind., and the late Mr. And Mrs. Ernest R. Pack of Guyton.
A November wedding is being planned in Guyton.
