Mr. and Mrs. Terry Ricks of Villa Rica, Ga. are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Terri Lynn Ricks, to Christopher Valentine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Valentine of Hinesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Elsberry and the late Mr. and Mrs. A.T. Ricks of Villa Rica. She is a 2003 graduate of Villa Rica High School and will earn her Bachelor of Science in mathematics education from Shorter College in December of 2007.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar M. Edwards Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Valentine of Hinesville. He is a 2003 graduate of Liberty County High School and 2006 graduate of Shorter College with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics. He is currently pursuing his teaching certification for high school mathematics from Shorter College.
The wedding is planned for June 14, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica. A reception will follow the ceremony.
