The groom is the son of Genia Good-Godsey of Connersville, Ind., and Mark Homan of Hinesville. He is a 2003 graduate of Bradwell Institute and received a degree in auto/diesel technology from Nashville Auto-Diesel College in Nashville, Tenn. He is a corrections officer at the Coastal State Prison in Savannah.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Carol Roberts of Pembroke and Cindy Knight of Savannah. She is a 2005 graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy in Savannah and also graduated from Covington Theological Seminary with a degree in religious education. She is employed as a medical transcriptionist.
The couple got engaged on the beach at Tybee Island on Feb. 13. The wedding is at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Tom Triplett Park in Pooler.
