Liberty students earn B-P honors

MOUNT VERNON — Twenty-two students from Liberty County qualified for the Dean’s List at Brewton-Parker College of Mount Vernon, Georgia, for the fall 2007 semester, announced Dr. Ron Melton, provost.
Students include LaToya C. Cannon and Umang Kirit Desai, both of Allenhurst; Hayley Marie Allen, Heidi Kay Allen, Theresa Sherlin Bradley, Felicia Tywanda Coleman, Angel Theresa Dargan, Gary Daniel Eason, Tracy Lea Hall, Lila Ann Johnson, Fletcher E. Johnson Jr., Angela R. Jones and Courtney Paige Lundell, all of Hinesville.
Also, Haley Sydney Lundell, Lara Asha Pedraza, Amy L. Phillips, Jessica L. Scott, Kacy Dionne Simon and Alicia C. Wood, all of Hinesville; Susan Michelle Battyanyi, Lori Lee Carmichael and Casey Darlene McLamb, all of Midway.
Qualifying students were enrolled in 12 or more hours and earned a grade point average of 3.6 or better.
Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college in south Georgia. Based in Mount Vernon, it has external learning campuses and centers in Baxley, Glennville, Liberty County, Newnan, Norman Park and Savannah.
