Elizabeth Pirkle, Hinesville resident and Valdosta State University student and cheerleader, was initiated into National Academic Freshman Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta, having placed in the top 15 percent of the freshman class.
Pirkle also earned NCA All-American Collegiate Cheerleader status for superior collegiate spirit, showmanship and technique.
She is the daughter of Robert and Laura Pirkle.
