Editor: I would like to congratulate The Heritage Bank on being one of 34 banks in Georgia to receive the IDC Financial Publishing award as reported earlier this week.
As I can remember, this bank’s principles and ethics were established by leaders like T.H. McDowell, Donald Martin Jr., Wallace Martin Jr. and Jimmy Floyd Sr. Under their influence, The Heritage Bank adopted good, sound banking practices that still apply today. Their leadership paved the way for phenomenal growth and set the tone for excellence.
It is refreshing to see a bank that was founded on such high principles and ethics succeed in today’s economic climate. Heritage has grown from a small community bank to a regional bank. Through growth and prosperity, they still recognize the importance of high principles and ethics.
