Editor, Thank you to Dot Moss and W. Bush for their recent letters to the editor concerning required, county-sponsored polycarts for garbage pickup. I agree completely with their views.
Anyone desiring polycart service can choose to obtain this service privately. Why does the Liberty County government wish to intervene and do for the residents what private companies are currently doing? What is the purpose? Is this another expansion of government issues? At what financial cost will the county provide this service to residents? At what cost to individual freedom of choice? Say no to required, Liberty County-sponsored polycarts.
