Liberty AARP extends gratitude

Editor, Liberty County AARP chapter 5031 hosted the region eight-district meeting for the state of Georgia on April 11.
The meeting took place at the Western Sizzlin’ restaurant and delegates from chapters in Douglas, Jesup, Midway, Waycross, Savannah and Hinesville were in attendance. The guest speakers were Pamela Rochell, Region Eight coordinator, and Betty Klien, district coordinator. They discussed pertinent information that affects many Georgians of all ages.
We wish to take this opportunity to thank the management and staff of Western Sizzlin.’ Their service was exemplary, and they did all they could to make our luncheon meeting successful — from opening their doors for us at 9 a.m. and having coffee and hot buns available, to helping us coordinate the amount of people we would have going through the line. They were extremely gracious in all ways.
Again, thank you to all who made this event a successful one for our Liberty County AARP.

Dorothy Mosley, president
B. Young, secretary
